Now a days, the "desforestation is clearing Earth's forests on a massive scale"! There is only left 30% of Earth's forests, imagine in 100 years, how do you think it would be ?
The main cause of desforestation is agriculture, mainly to provide money for families. The agriculture cuts and even burns trees to have more space for their plantation. And in some cases this happens illegally! People also build roads to acess more trees to cut.
The problem is that many of these trees are used to make materials we use in our daily life,such as, paper, glue, and many others, so how do we solve this issue? We need find alternative ways to make these kind of materials we cannot continue destroying our forests, eventhough one day we know they may end if we don't change and stop cutting them.
But not all the desforestation is intencional, some of them happens naturally, like, natural fires.
Like I said desforestation is really bad, not only because it cuts down many trees, but because it also destroys the habitat of many innocent species. It can change the climate too, because when we take out the trees, the soil is exposed and not protect from sun - bloking, so it dries out quickly.
In my opinion, a way to reduce the desforestation, like I alredy said is to create alternative ways to produce, materias made of trees(wood), but also balance the desforestation, and replace the trees that we cut off. The replacement of trees already happen, but it's not enough to replace all the trees we already killed!
My conclusion is that trees are very important and should not be cutted off!!!
